I am prone to acne problems myself but I wear make-up. It's simply a matter of choosing the right stuff for your skin and remembering to take care of your skin.


That includes washing and moisturizing your skin twice a day (once when you get up and once before you go to bed to remove any make-up and oil build-up). Try using an oil-free moisturizer and facial cleanser, like Mary Kay Combination to Oily Timewise skin care, my personal favorites.


And, instead of a heavy foundation, which can cause major break-outs, try a light-weight tint instead. Mary Kay offers one with an SPF 15 in it. Yeah, it can be a bit pricey, but I've found that shelling out a little now helps in the long run. Or you can try Almay Smart Shade, which is just as good.


To set your make-up without feeling like you're wearing a clay mask, lightly dust on a mineral powder when you're done the tint and cheeks; I find this helps cut down on the shine and ensures a bit more durablity in my make-up, especially when I need to do an oil-blot half-way through the day.

There are a few factors to help improve skins condition whilst using foundation





1. Is try and use a natural or mineral foundation





2.Make sure your skin is well looked after eg. Washing cleansiing toning etc..





3.Invest in a good quality foundation with minimal ammounts of chemicals





4. Dont cake it but use a concealer to cover the red spots first .

yes if you wear makeup with talc and so on in it which clogs pores worse and breaks you out worse. also there are alot of other irritents if you have sensitive skin, i wear bare minerals makeup and it dosent break me out and the mineral makeup at walmart is bad it still breaks me out

Well it can be if you use makeup that makes your skin break out more or if you leave it on too long and don't let your skin breath.

I say as long as its not makeup that makes you break out and you let your skin breath (Don't wear makeup when you are just sitting home, don't wear your makeup to bed...) then makeup is fine!!
to much can clog them and make them worse/take longer to heal. i had acne really bad so i just used a powder to make them not so noticeable (rather then a concealer). that way they have time to air out, breath and heal. also, try the Clearasil Ultra Vanishing Acne Treatment Cream. you can by it at walmart and it works wonders! within 3 days my skin was clear! hope this helps
it depends on what you use. if you use bad quality makeup then maybe but i use loreal mineral foundation and i swear by it! it covers evrything but doesn't look fake. i don't know how they do it! Its only like 15 or 20 dollars and it lasts a long time and toally works! since its mineral makeup it wont clog pores!
It depends on what kind of makeup and what brand. There is some that will actually help. I would recommend Nuetrogena if you have acne, its the least pore clogging. Just make sure you wash it off every night. Try not to use a lot of makeup though because it can clog pores.

no but if you wear oily makeup like liquid foundations then yea and itll b a disastor cuz itll take like a week to clear the breakout you get from it up. good luck :)
i have acne and i have wore makeup it never bother me but everybody skin is different.
if u dont wash it off at night, then in the morning, ur face will become like the amazon. but other than that...i think its fine.
yes, because it clogs your pores and creates more oil which creates acne.
If you dont wash off the cheap makeup it is!!!
