Is eye-makeup bad for your eyesight?

I heard that wearing eyeliner was bad for your vision. I've been wearing eyeliner since i was about ten years old. I used to have 20/20 vision, but now I have to wear contacts. Is that just coincidence or is it bad for your eyesight?Is eye-makeup bad for your eyesight?
Nah, it's just coincidence. Having a misshapen eyeball is what gives you bad vision (long eyeball = nearsighted, short eyeball = farsighted). And besides, your eyes have a pretty good cleaning system.Is eye-makeup bad for your eyesight?
i don't think so. i'm 13 and i wear contacts now, but i never really wore eyeliner before so, it could just be your vision taht's messed up, and also, when you put on eyeliner, put it on after your contacts, because you could get eyeliner on your contacts, and trust me, that's never fun.
I doubt there's any truth to that. If you wear eyeliner that isn't waterline approved, you could get an eye infection or sty, but that's about it.
No, I don't think it's bad for your eye-sight as long as you follow basic sanitary ';rules'; such as replace your make up regularly, don't share it with anyone, and remove your makeup before going to sleep.
