nix the eyeliner, if you must darken your lids, use a darker eyeshadow right at your lash line, it looks much softer and more natural. Keep eyeshadow simple. I don't know what you look like so I can't suggest colors, but because you're only 14, I would say stick with pale nuturals, peach, taupe, if any at all. Mascara, no black. stick with brown, or there is a mascara that is clear. it lengthens without mucking up with colorWhy does my makeup always look bad?
This isn't nessecarily too much makeup but I'm guessing that
a) You're putting too much of each of the things on or
b) The colors that you're using aren't flattering to your skin tone or if it's because it looks smeary then
c) the makeup isn't long lasting and ends up looking kinda yucky or unnatural by the end of the day.
Try experimenting with different products in different colors and see what's longer lasting or is better suited for your skin tone/eye/hair color :]
Perhaps you're just making bad make up choices and how well do you care for your skin? I suggest that you start taking the proper care of your skin first, then go into make up. Aularale Cosmetics - aularale.com/7002, has make up that gives a very natural look and feel on the skin. Also, eat more fruit and veggies and drink lots and lots of water.
Well I am not so sure. However, I know that if the foundation you are wearing does not match exactly it can cause it to look unatural.
Good luck
i usually go bare faced or some powder with mascara and sometimes eyeliner. eye shadows are more for going out than trying to look all natural or you can use tans and peachy pink natural clolors... hope i helped!
you are putting too much makeup on. use skin toned eye shadow and an eyeliner that goes well with your eyes. if you have blue-brown or toupe
brown-purple
green-black might work
use some clear lip gloss instead of maybe a bright pink or something.
to look natural take out the eyeshadow or keep it brown. then line only the top lashes and wear mascara on the top lashes
honey, i think your wearing too much make-up. u probably don't need the powder foundation, all u prob need ((if anything)) is some concealer to cover up any minor imperfections. take away the eyeshadow, and use a grey eye liner NOT BLACK! use a little mascara on only your top lashes and get rid of the lip gloss, get a tinted chapstick instead. hope this helps!!!!
for a 14 year old that is wayyyyyyy too much..your skin naturally glows when you are that young..when i was 14 if i needed foundation i only used a little and put it on with a brush not a pad....make sure it's your skin color too..then you should only need masacra and lip gloss it makes a huge diff. and beofre you leave the house pinch your cheeks a little so you blush a tiny bit..it really works and looks gorgeous.
dont worry there's always a start...and as for 14 years its not really the great time to wear a lot of make up...keep it natural with tinted moistureriser and line your eyes with eye liner and put a bit of lip gloss and you should be fine...
yet if you wanna know if you're doing it worng...i would recommend you to browse net a bit. you can find a lot of videos and its very easy to learn and follow them....thats how i got started...the best thing about it is they will tell you what exactly you need , show you the step by step process and also refer to any mistakes you might make during the make up application....and they are highly professional so highly perfect
you can search sites like youtube or video jug with key words(make up)...i'm giving some links for you but there are lot more...you can find one for your skin color, eye color etc..just strat trying
best wishes
best wishes
Maybe you're using the wrong shades for your skin tone, or just the wrong kind of products. Try concealer or liquid foundation, then mascara, maybe no eyeliner, or a lighter shade like brown, no eyeshadow (or maybe a light brown/white to highlight your eyes) and just a little bit of lip balm and pale lip gloss. I think less is more :)
