What is the best way to deal with having a bad black eye? try to cover it with makeup? wear dark glasses?

the best thing to do is to wear dark glasses...


but i would dab some concealer on it to make sure that if the glass fell off accidently or something, the black eye wouldnt show up..!!

First you need to conceal the eye... use a thick concealer...sponge on foundation and cover it with powder. And then, put on a purplish or mauve eyeshadow on your lid, a grey hue in the crease of your eyelid, and a light color (white/silver) on your brow bone. I know it sounds crazy (I'm not fond of purple eyeshadow) but it works. My friend got in a fight and had to come to work. (We work in a hospital, in the ER.) She had a huge black eye, but she just put on LOTS of makeup, and I could hardly tell...it just looked a little puffy! You'll look a little too done up, but its better then looking like a thug or something.

use a yellow-green concealer as it will take the bruising discolouration away. try using liquid foundation over it and blend with the concealer. apply with a blush-brush and in small circles blend it in. this will counteract the bruising and discolouration.





avoid sunlight as much as possible and b4 going to bed, use a moisturiser to soften the skin and drink alot of water to rehydrate it so that it will heal quicker! goodluck!
Dab a yellow-green concealer on the bruised part to counteract the blue/purple discoloration. It might take more than one coat %26amp; you'll probably need to top it with some powder to help blend %26amp; even things out. It would also probably help hide it if you wear a colored eyeshadow on your lid.

Most jobs won't allow dark glasses while at work


If you are dealing with the public .


( cause dark glasses are used by people who are stoned or drunk )
