I read that it absorbs sweat and oil to give you the shine-free face... but I looked on mineralhygienics.com... which is natural makeup and they said they do not contain silica. So I was wondering does it have any cons?

pure silica, yeah its bad for you. Its made to be mixed or diluted with another ingredient not to be directly put onto your face
